The song is a reflection of time spent on tour, and appropriate for The Wild Feathers, road warriors who have opened for Bob Seger and Brothers Osborne this year. “Jacksonville To Jackson Hole” was debuted along with an interview on Storm Warren’s morning show on SiriusXM’s The Highway (ch.56). The Wild Feathers’ latest record, Greetings From the Neon Frontier, found them reuniting with producer Jay Joyce and embracing their more countrified influences. Rolling Stone Country says the album “nods to a number of 1970s and early-Eighties heavyweights who once toed a similar line between rock & roll and country influences,” and the Associated Press calls it “road music that might make you step on the gas a little harder.”
